With many years of driving provides a great deal of experience. They have more patience and are more confident. This in turn means that they are safer on our roads than many other age groups. But as we get older, we tend to be less sharp. Our reaction times are slower; our eyesight starts to deteriorate along with our hearing.
Our road are becoming more crowded all the time, and with this driving has become more complex and more challenging than it used to be, coupled with changing road signs and road markings. Older drivers have to adapt to these changes to stay safe on our roads for now and years to come.
